September 3, 2021

Copa America Champions were in brilliant form as they defeated Venezuela by 3-0. Lautaro Martinez open scoring for Argentina in extra time of 1st half after Venezuela had been reduced to 10 men by Luis Adrian Martinez’s red card for a reckless challenge on Messi.
Joaquin Correa doubled the lead in 71st minute and Angel Correa tripled the lead with 74th Minute strike.
Venezuela got a consolation goal in very last minute of the match. Soteldo scored for the host via penatly to reduce the deficit by a goal.
Argentina are second in the 10-team South American qualifying group for next year’s World Cup behind Brazil, who beat Chile in a later game on Thursday.
In his first match for his country since moving to Paris Saint-Germain, Lionel Messi struggled to stamp his authority on the match in Caracas, but it mattered little.
