School cricket

Rasulpur High School thumped Pole Star Poora School by 80 runs while Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Govt High School beat Sher-e-Bangla Ideal High School by 3 wickets in the Standard Chartered Young Tigers National School Cricket yesterday.
At Satkhira Stadium, batting first Rasulpur made 129 all out in 32 overs, courtesy of a 33-run knock from Billal Hossain. In reply, Pole Star Poora School got bowled out for 49 runs in 16.2 overs. Habibur Rahman took five wickets for 15 runs to skittle Pole Star cheaply.
In the other match at Gulshan Youth Club Ground, Sher-e-Bangla Ideal High School posted 247 for 9 in their fifty overs, with fifties from Jahurul Islam and Towhid Ekram. However, that score was not enough as Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Govt High School chased down the total in 41.3 overs losing seven wickets. Jibon Hossain top-scored with 57 runs. Saddam Hossain took 5 for fifty for the losing side.
