Bangladesh Under-19 team reached 78-2 in 28 overs at the end of rain-interrupted second day of the first youth Test against hosts Sri Lanka Under-19 team in Dambula on Thursday. The hosts found them all out after managing a total of 216 – adding only 4 runs to their overnight score of 212-9 after rain delayed the start of second day’s play for several hours. Left-arm spinner Nahiduzzaman took the final wicket to complete his five-wicket haul and finished with 5-55
Opener Shadman Islam later scored a half century for the touring side – 56 off 69 balls before getting perished.
Off-spinner Nishan Peiris claimed both the wickets that have fallen in Bangladesh Under-19 innings.
Munim Shahriar (three not out) was batting with Joyraz Sheik, who is yet to open his account, at stumps.
