Mashrafe recovers from coronavirus

July 14, 2020

Former Bangladesh ODI skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza today announced through a Facebook post that he had tested negative for coronavirus.
“Alhamdulillah. By the grace of the Almighty and due to all of your prayers, I have been tested negative for coronavirus. I received the news tonight. I am grateful towards everyone who stood by me, prayed for me and inquired about my health during this time”.
Mashrafe however informed that his wife, who has also contracted the virus, is yet to test negative.
“My wife however is still positive even after two weeks of contracting the virus. But she is doing fine. Seeking prayers for her,” wrote Mashrafe.
Mashrafe, who is the elected Member of Parliament from Narail-2, had tested positive for the virus on June 20 for the first time. After that, Mashrafe once again underwent the coronavirus test earlier this month but his results came out positive at that time.
The 36-year-old had stayed in self-isolation and received treatment at home since testing positive.
