3 national minority people killed trying to save woman from rape

Three villagers were killed as they tried to save a young woman from getting raped by some young people in Rupashipara at Naikhyangchari in Bandarban on Saturday.
The miscreants killed Aung Sha Marma, 62, Hamu Sing, 35, and his minor son Maungnuching, 5.
The Rupashipara union council chairman, Maching Marma, said that five young people sneaked into a farm house in the village at noon.
They grabbed the young woman, working in the farm house, and tried to rape her.
As the woman cried out for help, Aung and Hamu went to the spot. The minor boy followed his father. The miscreants attacked and killed them when they were trying to save her. The miscreants also killed the minor boy.
Lama-Ali Kadam Zonal Commander Lieutenant Colonel Shaheed Mustafa, Lama uapzila chairman Mohammad Ismail, circle ASP Amjad Hossain and human rights activist Ruhul Amin went to the spot.
The police arrested Mohammad Musa for his suspected involvement in the murder.
The incident has created panic in the area.
