February 14, 2009

You’ve got the dress, the underwear, the shoes, you’re hair is perfect all you need to do now is put on your make up and you are ready for your Valentine’s Day date. But this is the tricky part, what look should you go for to get you at you’re sexy best and help you give the likes of Scarlet Johansson and Cheryl Cole a run for their money?
Well, we’re here to help. We’ll take you through the perfect beauty choices to make him go weak at the knees!
Start with your skin. The cold weather and central heating will no doubt have dried out your skin so start the day by applying a water-based moisturiser to help combat the effects. If you’re suffering from a few nasty spots tea tree oil is the best thing you can use to banish the blemishes. Finally use, you’re usual foundation for perfect coverage, this is a big night so it’s not the time to be risky and try a new product. A touch of pink blusher on the apples of your cheeks will give you a great sexy flush.
Smokey eyes are the only way to go this Valentine’s Day. Apply a base shadow to lock in colour before applying liner to the upper and bottom eye lash line. Smudge the liner to create the smoky effect, and then blend a lighter shade from the inner eye into the middle. Using an eye shadow brush start to blend the darker shade, begin at the outer lash line up to the crease of the eye. Finish the look off with a couple of coats of volumising mascara
If you want the ultimate pout for Valentine’s day go for a lip plumping lip gloss to boost your lips to look as full as Angelina Jolie’s. If you want a more classic look you can’t go wrong with a slick of bright red lipstick, the perfect colour for Valentine’s Day!
It’s not all about the face though, make sure you have super soft skin too, perfect for cuddling up to. Apply a liberal amount of body lotion a couple of hours before you go out, this should give it enough time to sink in leaving you with sexy smooth skin, perfect!
