GMG likely to float shares by Nov

GMG Airlines will float shares in the capital market by November this year.
Chairman of the private carrier Shayan F Rahman made the disclosure at the 13th annual general meeting of the company in Dhaka on Wednesday, said a news release.
The airline, majority of which is owned by Beximco Group, made a profit of Tk 2.34 crore in the year ending on December 31, 2009, while its operating revenue was Tk 290.81 crore.
In May this year, the airline was re-launched with a new logo. As part of modernisation and expansion of the airline, new aircraft were added to its fleet and new routes were launched.
