Khoda Bakhsh Mridha passes away

Sports commentator Khoda Baksh Mridha died in Rajshahi on Tuesday morning. He was 65.
He had been suffering from typhoid and pneumonia. As condition deteriorated, he was rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital at about 8:30am where he breathed his last after 15 minutes.
Mridha obtained popularity in national level as a TV and radio sports commentator in 80s, reports our staff correspondent in Rajshahi.
He served as a professor of political science at different government colleges, including Rajshahi Government University College and Rajshahi City College.
Mridha left behind his wife, two sons and two daughters to mourn his death.
