ECB security team due today

A three-member security delegation of England and Wales Cricket Board will arrive today to monitor the security situation in Bangladesh ahead of England’s scheduled tour, said the Bangladesh Cricket Board officials on Tuesday. ECB’s security adviser Reg Dickason will lead the delegation that includes Professional Cricketers’ Association chief executive David Leatherdale and ECB’s director of cricket operations John Carr during their three-day visit.
According to BCB sources, the delegation will have meetings the UK and Australian high commissions on Wednesday.
They are expected to meet Bangladesh’s home minister Asaduzzaman Khan on August 18 while the security delegation is expected to fly over to Chittagong on August 19.
During their stay they will have meeting with different security agencies apart from crosschecking security arrangements at the venues and other regular stuffs.
England are scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh on September 30 for a three-match one-day international and two-Test series played in Dhaka and Chittagong.
