‘Our next fresh programme will be made public through a press conference on upcoming Staurday,’ Kamrul said.
Meanwhile, the regular syndicate meeting was adjourned in the face of teachers’ pre-declared demonstration programme.
Syndicate members including Professor Hanif Ali, Professor Kamrul Ahsan Tito, associate professor Tariqul Islam and Lutfar Rahman addressed the protest.
They alleged that university authority did not inform them about the syndicate meeting though VC Anwar Hossain denied their allegation.
At about 11:00am, at a press conference, JU VC Professor Anwar condemned the teachers protest and urged them to quit from movement.
VC also requested them to save the campus and look into the students’ interest.

As a result, no regular classes and examination of the university were held.
