Tapan elected Bangladesh Employers’ Federation president

Square Pharmaceuticals managing director Tapan Chowdhury has been elected the president of Bangladesh Employers’ Federation for the years 2013-2015.
A former adviser to a caretaker government, he is also a former president of Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka, said a press release.
Osman Textiles director Sabrina Islam was elected the vice-president. She is also the president of Women Entrepreneurs’ Association, Bangladesh.
Other office bearers are Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters’ Association director Md Monsoor Ahmed, The Bengal Glass Works director Tahmid Ahmed, Bangladesh Textile Mills Association president Jahangir Alamin, Green Delta Insurance managing director and CEO Farzana Chowdhury, City Brokerage managing director and CEO Kh Asadul Islam,
Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters’ Association director Khandoker Rafiqul Islam, Bangladeshiyo Cha Sangsad senior vice-chairman Ardashir Kabir, Bangladesh Frozen Foods Exporters’ Association director S Humayun Kabir, Kedarpur Tea Company director Nihad Kabir, Technohaven Company managing director and CEO Habibullah N Karim, Bangladesh Lamps director Obaidur Rahman Khan, Abdul Monem Sugar Refinery deputy managing director and CEO ASM Mainuddin Monem, Bangladesh Jute Mills Association committee member Kaihan N Rahman and Khadim Ceramics managing director Sakif Ariff Tabani.
